BIO FIBER DAMPING COMPOUND
Using nature as a model, MERIDA refines the construction of different carbon components with special linen biofibers that impress particularly with an interesting feature: high efficiency in dampening vibrations. Like rigid carbon forks, the rear tubes of road bikes or MTB hardtails offer much more comfort when these natural fibers are intertwined with the carbon matrix, which in itself is resistant to torsion.

Through a special reinforcement strip (as in the all-carbon forks of road bikes), MERIDA competently combines two different technological characteristics that appear to be completely contradictory at first sight: exceptional torsional rigidity for maximum quality in driving and safety on one side and a certain amount of damping flexibility on the other.
