Giant Bicycles are covered by the following warranty ensuring freedom from defects in materials and workmanship. The following limited warranty applies to all current Giant & Liv bicycles manufactured from 2012 onwards. For 2011 and older model bicycles, please consult your owner's manual or contact Giant or your Authorised Giant Retailer for the applicable warranty information.

  1. Lifetime Warranty for Bicycle frame (Expect for downhill)
  2. 10 Years Warranty for Rigid Forks
  3. 3 Years Warranty for Bicycle frame for a downhill bike.
  4. 1 Year Warranty for Decals and Giant Branded Parts
  5. All non-Giant brand parts, suspension forks, and rear shock absorbers shall be covered exclusively by the stated warranty of their original manufacturer.

Exclusions

The above warranty, or any implied warranty, does not cover:

  • Misuse or Negligence: The warranty does not cover damages resulting from misuse, abuse, or negligent handling of the products, including but not limited to improper installation, disassembly, or modification.

  • Unauthorized Repairs or Alterations: Any attempt to repair or alter the bicycle lights by individuals or service providers not authorized by the manufacturer will void the warranty.

  • Natural Wear and Tear: Normal wear and tear on parts such as tires, chains, brakes, cables, and gear wheels in situations where there are no assembly or material defects. Including cosmetic deterioration, scratches, and fading over time  are excluded from the warranty coverage.

  • Accidents or External Forces: Damages caused by accidents, collisions, or exposure to extreme external forces (e.g., impacts, falls, or severe weather conditions) are not covered under this warranty.

  • Incompatible Use: The warranty does not extend to damages resulting from using the bicycle lights & Computers in ways inconsistent with their intended purpose or specifications.

  • Failure to Follow Instructions: Damages arising from a failure to follow the product's operating instructions, guidelines, or recommended practices as outlined in the user manual are not covered.

  • Battery Exclusions: For products with rechargeable batteries, the warranty may exclude battery degradation over time or failures caused by non-compliance with proper charging procedures.

  • Third-Party Accessories: Damages caused by the use of third-party accessories, components, or modifications not explicitly approved by the manufacturer are not covered.

  • Failure to Provide Proof of Purchase: Warranty claims may require proof of purchase, and failure to provide such documentation may result in the exclusion of the product from warranty coverage.

  • Labor charges for part replacement or changeover.

Terms & Conditions

  • Service must be performed by Giant or an authorized retailer. 
  • Insurance, handling and transportation charges to Giant Distributor shall be borne by Customer.
