Orbea Alma H50 27.5er (Black)

The Orbea Alma H50 27 is a very reasonably priced aluminum framed version of the Alma. It is the perfect bike for a rider looking to get into cross-country riding on a budget. It features similarities to the world class geometry of the far more expensive Alma models. Alma is known for its balanced climbing, speed, and compliance as a reliable hardtail. If you are looking for an entry level bike to share your adventures on the trail with, the Orbea Alma H50 27 is a great choice for non-stop fun.

This version of the Alma has a similar geometry to the World Cup proven shape of the carbon-framed Almas. The aluminum framed versions of the Alma provide a slightly less aggressive riding position which allows for a more comfortable riding position. Comfort is essential for an entry level mountain bike and the geometry of the Alma H50 delivers while keeping a stiff enough frame to perform with adequate speed.

The comfort of this bike is complimented by the RockShox fork. This is a less expensive version of the RockShox fork line, so it keeps the frontend of your bike comfortable while sticking to your budget. As you roll over bumps and tough terrain, your fork will travel vertically to assure that your body or speed are not affected by the dissipation of energy. With this extra compliance on your hardtail, you will feel confident sprinting and flying down hills on your Alma.

This version of the Alma comes with the option of equipping 27.5-inch tires on a small or medium frame. This is perfect for beginners or smaller riders who need a bit of extra control. The Orbea Alma H50 27 is an excellent bike for the rider looking to try out cross-country mountain biking. The Alma H50 is fast and reliable, but more than anything, it makes your ride fun. Having a blast out on the trails will help you progress with and fall in love with mountain biking in no time.

We all love to ride our bikes, and we know how exciting it is to get a new bike.
Our READY TO RIDE Service ensures you can ride your bike within a few minutes upon receiving it.

Building a bike to ride smoothly and safely requires specialty tools and expertise. Trained and experienced bike mechanics assemble your bike with precision and care in a professional bike shop environment using correct bicycle specific tools and procedures.

We review your new bike to ensure there are no missing parts and that they all work together as desired - derailleurs shifting perfectly, brakes performing flawlessly, and that your wheels are trued to perfection. Our mechanics complete a thorough 30 point checklist to assure that your new bike is not only perfectly tuned, but that every nut and bolt is torqued to exact technical specifications. This is the same quality control process that we use for the thousands of bicycles that roll out of our bike shop to ensure they are high performing and are safe to ride.

Every bike is then carefully packed and ready to be shipped out using the best shipping companies in the country.

When you receive your new bike all you need to do is complete a simple 10 minute process and you are Ready to Ride. It actually takes longer to remove the foam padding that safely protects your bike than to do the final easy assembly steps.

After removing your bike from the box and removing the foam padding, you only have to tighten the pedals and handlebars, install the seat and plug in the front wheel and you'll be riding in 10 minutes.

Proven to work even with the most mechanically un-inclined person.

Mountain Bikes are bikes that are designed to be ridden off-road on trails, mud tracks, rocky/sandy sections and generally areas which are not smooth. Generally, mountain bikes are identified by knobby tires, flat handlebars, and suspensions which provide a smooth and stable ride even on highly irregular or broken terrain.. read more
