These are not cheap & after a lot of review, decided to give in as there was a 10% discount. I had a powerpod powermeter which was doing a fair job at the price I paid for it(approx Rs 20+K). There was a struggle with it as I used need to sync it & caliberate it. Caliberation is not the same as what we do with these pedals. Also it had to be charged almost every other day if I used it regularly. These powermeters(plus it gives cadence, so my garmin cadence is irrelevent now) seem fairly straightforward to setup as I have almost all garmin products(garmin 820, garmin HRM) & I am pretty pleased of how predictably Garmins work over the years. I was surprised with an included garmin jersey & bib but the only gripe is that it was couple of sizes smaller than what I wear. As usual they required a firmware upgrade & they were ready to be used. They provide a lot of data & some of the useful ones are if both legs are producing similar wattage & if the platform offset of pedals, but there is lot more. The batteries LR44/SR44 vs the ones that they have come with(CR1/3N are probably recommended too) there is a big cost difference i.e. Rs 50-75 vs Rs 500. Didn't face any difficulty with BOTS & it was shipped & recd in 4-5 days. I am currently doing more indoor training with Zwift + Elite Smart trainer, so in couple of indoor rides, power seemed to be on similar on both. But its too early for me to comment on how good these are but with my experience with garmin products, I am pretty hopeful that these turn out to be like all garmins products I have used.
