very nice

For someone looking for spd compatible shoes that can be worn off the bike too, these are superb. Fit also is true to size

Comfortable clipless MTB shoes at a reasonable price

This was my first footwear purchase from BOTS, and although I had to go through a size-related exchange process, the experience was great, since I ended up with a pair of really comfy MTB shoes. I use the Giro Gauge on both my road bikes fitted with MTB pedals. Cleat adjustment was easy thanks to the well-placed pair of bolt holes. The soles are grippy and rigid enough to meet the demands of a non-racing KOM hunter. The best bit is the laced closure system, which is seriously underrated as it offers the greatest fit adjustment. The insole is of good quality too. Prospective buyers should, however, opt for at least one-size-bigger shoes, as the fit can be tricky if you have camel-like wide soles like I do ;-)
