The PRO offers 4 unique arm positions designed to create ideal angles to reach any area of the body. Our patented Theragun Triangle ergonomic handle design allows you to hold the device in a number of ways while actively reducing strain on your hands, wrists, and arms.

PRO includes 2 rechargeable lithium-ion batteries with 150 minutes of battery life each. Charge one battery while the other is in use and continuously swap them for all-day run time. It’s also wireless charging enabled, so you can conveniently charge the device in its wireless charging stand (sold separately).

• OLED Screen with Force Meter

The OLED screen gives you complete control over your recovery routine by conveniently displaying your current speed and a responsive force meter. And if you leave your phone in the locker room or at home, you can toggle between up to 3 preset treatments saved to your device from the Therabody app.

How it works and why it’s different

• Depth

The key to true deep muscle treatment is a precise amplitude—essentially how far the arm or shaft of the device extends and retracts to reach the body and deliver each percussion. The Theragun stands apart with a 16 mm amplitude that reaches 60% deeper into muscle than average massagers.

• Speed

Most low-amplitude, high-speed massagers rapidly vibrate and desensitize the skin. Going beyond mere vibration, the Theragun actually leaves the surface of the skin at 40 times per second, allowing it to target a localized area of the body without the brain acclimating to the stimulation.

How to

Using the PRO

1. Insert the lithium-ion battery fully before turning on the PRO.

2. To turn on the PRO, firmly press and hold the center button for 2 seconds on the button pad.

3. Press the plus (+) and minus (-) buttons on the button pad to increase or decrease speed.

4. Press the left (<) and right (>) arrows on the button pad to toggle between the PRO’s pre-loaded treatment presets.

5. The PRO should be used with the attachment making perpendicular contact with the skin. Only the attachment of the device should make contact with the skin or area you are treating. Do not use the device at an angle that puts the percussive arm of the device in contact with the skin.

6. To turn off the PRO, firmly press and hold the center button on the button pad until the device shuts down.

Using the Rotating Arm

The PRO’s rotating arm adjusts to 4 positions. To adjust the arm, push the rotating arm button on the underside of the PRO and move the arm to the desired position.

Smart app integration

Overview

The PRO is smart device enabled with Bluetooth® connectivity, designed to pair seamlessly with the Therabody app. When you download the app, you’ll be guided through a step-by-step setup and shown how to pair your device. Once paired with your device, the app can remotely adjust speed, activate guided treatment presets, and make real-time recommendations based on your usage. The PRO’s OLED screen supports your app experience by displaying the current speed and force to help guide your treatment.

Saved Preset Routines on Device

The PRO can store up to three presets locally. Each preset is a unique combination of speed, time, and force depending on the guided wellness routine it stems from. That means that each person’s device is specific to them and can be tailored to their particular needs.

Privacy

The health and activity data collected on your Therabody app stays there, period. At Therabody, we understand your health and activity data is yours and yours alone. We don’t collect, sell, or share any of your data, ever. In fact, feel free to test this by activating Airplane Mode on your phone. You’ll see that the app continues to work independently of any signal, as all of your data is stored locally on your device.

Battery and charging

Inserting and Removing PRO’s Lithium-ion Batteries

Align and insert the battery in the battery slot on the underside of the Theragun PRO with the flat side of the battery end facing the circular release button. Battery life is displayed on the PRO’s OLED screen when the device is turned on. The PRO is fully charged when the OLED screen shows 100% and the battery icon is full. To remove the battery, press the circular release button above the battery slot and pull the battery out.

Charging

Plug the charging wire into the port on the charging dock. Insert the battery into the charging dock and press down until the light flashes. Charging is complete once the light stops flashing.
