The drivetrain is where the AL 5 steps up: a 12-speed Shimano 105 groupset with a 50/34 crankset and an 11-34 cassette, stopped by Shimano 105 hydraulic disc brakes. Bontrager Paradigm 23 tubeless-ready wheels come fitted with 700x32mm Bontrager Kwaremont Comp Hard-Case Lite tires.
