An aluminium enduro bike for riders who want 170 mm of travel, a high main pivot design and a mixed-wheel setup built for pressing hard on steep, technical descents.
Overview
The Slash 8 Gen 6 is built on an Alpha Platinum Aluminium frame with 170 mm of travel, a high main pivot, an idler pulley, internal storage, an angle-adjust headset and adjustable leverage rate. A Fox Rhythm 36 fork with Float EVOL air spring and GRIP damper and a Fox Performance Float X shock control the travel.
The drivetrain is a 1x12 Shimano XT M8100 setup with a 10-51 cassette, and Shimano 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes with 203 mm RT66 rotors handle stopping. A 29-inch front wheel and 27.5-inch rear wheel with Bontrager XR5 Team Issue tyres, a 170 mm dropper post and a 820 mm handlebar complete the build.
