1. Who can participate?
Any cyclist who wants to test themselves against the clock can take part. The event has separate Men’s and Women’s categories. Registration is open for the BUMSONTHESADDLE store qualifier.
2. Registration Fee - ₹599
A kickass indoor race. A shot at some serious bragging rights. And a whole lot more.
For ₹599, you're not just signing up for a ride. You're getting a proper 2 KM ITT on MyWhoosh, racing against other cyclists and putting your name on the line for the BUMSONTHESADDLE Store Champion title.

The Top 2 Men + Top 2 Women from BUMSONTHESADDLE qualify for the Grand Finale in Bangalore, where the best riders from participating stores across India come together to race for even bigger Magene prizes.
₹599 gets you in the race. What happens after that is up to you.
3. Event Timings
The BUMSONTHESADDLE qualifier takes place on Sunday, 20 September 2026, in the morning.
Exact reporting and race timings will be communicated to registered participants.
The event consists of the Qualifying Round followed by the Store Finale.
4. Bike / Trainer Requirements
No fancy setup required. Just turn up and race.
We'll have 3 Magene indoor trainers, each set up with a bike, ready to race on the day.
Want to bring your own bike? Absolutely. You can bring it along and use it on one of the Magene trainers.
Don't have a suitable bike? No problem. Just rock up, hop on one of the bikes already set up on the trainers, and get ready to race.
The important bit: you just need to show up ready to put the power down. 🚴♂️⚡
5. MyWhoosh Setup
The race will be conducted on MyWhoosh, with riders competing in an indoor ITT format.
Detailed MyWhoosh setup, rider login and equipment instructions will be shared with participants before the event.
6. What to Bring

Come in your race kit and remember we have platform pedals for the trainer setup.
Your Magene participant kit and breakfast are included with your registration — so all you need to bring is yourself, your riding gear, and your competitive spirit.
7. How does qualification work?
First up: the 2 km Qualifying Round on MyWhoosh.The fastest 3–5 riders in each category qualify for the Store Finale.The Store Finale is a 4 km ITT on MyWhoosh, where the fastest Male and Female riders become the BUMSONTHESADDLE Store Champions.
8. What happens if I qualify?
You move one step closer to the Grand Finale.
The Top 2 Men + Top 2 Women from the BUMSONTHESADDLE Store Finale earn a place at the Grand Finale in Bangalore on 29 November 2026.
The Grand Finale will feature a 9–10 km ITT on MyWhoosh / Knock-out format (TBC), with separate Men’s and Women’s categories.
And there's plenty more at stake: 1st place wins a Magene TEO Powermeter and 2nd place wins a Magene PES Powermeter.
One useful addition: if a qualified rider can't attend the Grand Finale, their slot goes to the next-ranked rider from the same store.
