The DEFY ADVANCED PRO 2 is a high-performance endurance road bike from Giant Bicycles. It's designed for cyclists who want a comfortable and efficient bike for long rides, but it's also capable of handling rough roads and challenging terrain.

Features
  • Engineered with proprietary Dynamic Balanced Lacing technology, this tubeless ready composite WheelSystem delivers superior efficiency, pinpoint control and comfort.
  • Proprietary seatpost features a D-shaped composite shaft to better absorb road vibrations without the need for mechanical devices or special inserts. Optimized carbon layup helps increase overall compliance.
  • High-performance grade raw carbon material is used to produce this custom frame material in our own composite factory with a high stiffness-to-weight ratio. The front triangle is assembled and molded as one continuous piece in a proprietary manufacturing process called Modified Monocoque Construction.
  • The D-shaped fork steerer tube and corresponding spacers provide an extremely aerodynamic, easier to service system of internally routed brake and derailleur cables.
  • Composite integrated stem with internal cable routing improves aero performance and aesthetics with wind tunnel-inspired design.

Giant Bicycles are covered by the following warranty terms ensuring freedom from defects in materials and workmanship.

Prerequisite for Bike Warranty:
Bike registration should be done on www.giantindia.com within 15 days of purchase, failing to which warranty will not be applicable

Warranty of 5 years for:

  • Bicycle frame (Expect for downhill)
  • Rigid fork

Warranty of 3 years for:

  • Bicycle frame for a downhill bike

Warranty of 1 year for:

  • Paint finish and Decals
  • All other original parts (excluding non-Giant brand parts, all non-Giant brand parts shall be covered exclusively by the stated warranty of their original manufacturer)

Exclusions
  • Misuse or Negligence: The warranty does not cover damages resulting from misuse, abuse, or negligent handling of the products, including but not limited to improper installation, disassembly, or modification.
  • Unauthorized Repairs or Alterations: Any attempt to repair or alterations by individuals or service providers not authorized by the manufacturer will void the warranty.
  • Natural Wear and Tear: Normal wear and tear, including cosmetic deterioration, scratches, dents and fading over time, are excluded from the warranty coverage.
  • Accidents or External Forces: Damages caused by accidents, improper packing, collisions, unauthorized tampering or exposure to extreme external forces (e.g., impacts, falls, or severe weather conditions) are not covered under this warranty.
  • Incompatible Use: The warranty does not extend to damages resulting from using the products in ways inconsistent with their intended purpose or specifications.
  • Failure to Follow Instructions: Damages arising from a failure to follow the product's operating instructions, guidelines, or recommended practices as outlined in the user manual are not covered.
  • Battery Exclusions: For products with rechargeable Lithium-ion batteries, the warranty may exclude battery degradation over time or failures caused by non-compliance with proper charging procedures.
  • Third-Party Accessories: Damages caused by the use of third-party accessories, components, or modifications not explicitly approved by the manufacturer are not covered.
  • Failure to Provide Proof of Purchase: Warranty claims may require proof of purchase, and failure to provide such documentation may result in the exclusion of the product from warranty coverage.
  • Exclusion for Water Damage: Any damage relating to damage caused by water because some products are water repellant but not Water Proof
  • Non-specified conditions: Not includes damaged caused to products by improper accessories or improper fittings or for use in non specified conditions

  • Service must be performed by Brand or an authorized reseller.
  • Insurance, handling and transportation charges to Brand Distributor shall be borne by Customer.
  • For some products registration is required to extend the warranty. Failure to register voids extended warranty
  • The decision to replace or repair a product is influenced by the brand and various factors
