Merida Bicycles are covered by the following warranty terms ensuring freedom from defects in materials and workmanship.Models from 2011 onwards are covered by the following warranty

*Note: A products lifetime is considered as 15 years.

Frameset:

Our frames are covered by a Lifetime Warranty for the entire ownership of the original purchaser. Exclusions apply. This applies to manufacturing and material defects and includes bikes used for racing
A rider and equipment weight limit of 120kg applies; 140kg for performance and hybrid eBikes.
Category 5 models carry a 5 year warranty

Forks: Carbon and aluminium rigid forks are guaranteed for 5 years from the date of purchase.

Merida branded components, including paint and finish, are guaranteed for 1 year from the date of purchase.
Bikes used for Racing are excluded.

All other original parts shall be covered exclusively by the stated warranty of their original manufacturer

Exclusions

Misuse or Negligence: The warranty does not cover damages resulting from misuse, abuse, or negligent handling of the products, including but not limited to improper installation, disassembly, or modification.
Unauthorized Repairs or Alterations: Any attempt to repair or alterations by individuals or service providers not authorized by the manufacturer will void the warranty.
Natural Wear and Tear: Normal wear and tear, including cosmetic deterioration, scratches, dents and fading over time, are excluded from the warranty coverage.
Accidents or External Forces: Damages caused by accidents, improper packing, collisions, unauthorized tampering or exposure to extreme external forces (e.g., impacts, falls, or severe weather conditions) are not covered under this warranty.
Incompatible Use: The warranty does not extend to damages resulting from using the products in ways inconsistent with their intended purpose or specifications.
Failure to Follow Instructions: Damages arising from a failure to follow the product's operating instructions, guidelines, or recommended practices as outlined in the user manual are not covered.
Battery Exclusions: For products with rechargeable Lithium-ion batteries, the warranty may exclude battery degradation over time or failures caused by non-compliance with proper charging procedures.
Third-Party Accessories: Damages caused by the use of third-party accessories, components, or modifications not explicitly approved by the manufacturer are not covered.

First, they mentioned the delivery date as 29/30. When I called them on 29th, I was told it would be notified. Then I called on 30th and I was told they will give me a call when it is ready. In the next 30 minutes I get a notification saying it will be ready the next day. On pushing them to deliver by the committed date, they said I can pick it up at 7.30 PM. There is some commitment delay

My second Bike

Amidst the pandemic I bought my first bike Veloce at BOTS. At that time due to a supply issues my options were very limited. Three years of hard riding on my MTB with regular support of BOTS service went by. Having done well in my 10 grade exam and out growing my Veloce I was back at BOTS. This time I was spoilt for choice. Rizwan gave his advice and helped me select this time the Merida Crossway 20. I fell in love with the colour. Riding this cycle gave me a different experience altogether and I look forward riding with my dad on Sundays on the off roads of Sarjapur Road. Thanking Rohan and the crew at BOTS.
