The Dual Sport 3 Gen 5 is Trek's take on a hybrid that isn't limited to smooth tarmac. A lightweight aluminium frame with internal cable routing is paired with a carbon fork and 27.5-inch Bontrager Kovee wheels, so it stays quick on pavement while the wide tyres take the sting out of broken surfaces.
The drivetrain is a simple 1x10 Shimano CUES setup with an 11-48 LINKGLIDE cassette: no front derailleur to manage, and a gear range wide enough for steep climbs and fast flats. Hydraulic disc brakes, tubeless-ready wheels and 650x50 mm Bontrager GR0 Elite tyres complete the build, while mounts on the frame and fork accept racks and mudguards.
