The Marlin 5 Gen 3 is a trail-worthy daily rider built for everyday adventures, on and off the trail. Its Alpha Silver Aluminium frame has internal derailleur and dropper post routing, along with rack and kickstand mounts, so it works as a comfortable, stable commuter that still has the ruggedness of a real mountain bike.
The build is focused on the parts that matter on rough ground. An SR Suntour XCT 30 suspension fork with hydraulic lockout takes the edge off rough surfaces, a 9-speed Shimano CUES drivetrain with an 11-46 LinkGlide cassette covers steep and flat terrain, and Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brakes provide the stopping power. Bontrager Connection wheels roll on Bontrager Montrose Comp 2.40-inch tires.
