Size

A plus-tire trail hardtail for the rider who wants a 130mm air fork and a wide-range 12-speed drivetrain for genuinely technical singletrack.

Overview

The Kona Big Honzo DL (Red) is built around a 6061 aluminum frame paired with a RockShox 35 Silver air-sprung fork offering 130mm of travel.

It's equipped with a Shimano Deore 1x12-speed drivetrain and a 10-51T cassette, Shimano MT410 hydraulic disc brakes, and wide 27.5x2.8" plus-size tires for extra grip and cushioning on rough trails.

This is a bike for a rider wanting a genuinely capable trail hardtail, with plus-size tires that add traction and comfort on technical, rocky terrain.

Why You'll Like It

130mm of air-sprung travel
The RockShox 35 Silver fork gives 130mm of travel with easy air-pressure tuning, smoothing out roots and rock gardens that a shorter-travel fork would struggle with.

A wide-range 12-speed drivetrain
The Shimano Deore 1x12-speed drivetrain and 10-51T cassette cover everything from steep climbs to fast descents.

Plus-size tires for extra traction
27.5x2.8" tires add grip and cushioning on loose or rocky terrain that a standard-width tire can't match.

Confident stopping power
Shimano MT410 hydraulic disc brakes with 180mm rotors give strong, consistent stopping on steep descents.

Who Is It For?

Suited to riders wanting a genuinely capable trail hardtail with plus-size tires for extra grip and comfort on technical, rocky terrain.

For riders in India exploring the trail systems near most major cities, where the terrain shifts quickly between loose dirt and rock, the plus-size tires and 130mm fork genuinely help on longer, rougher rides.

Good to Know

The air-sprung fork lets you fine-tune the ride feel with a shock pump, matching the suspension to your weight and riding style.
