Size

A 29" cross-country hardtail for the rider who wants a race-ready frame and the widest-range 12-speed drivetrain in the lineup.

Overview

The Kona Kahuna (Green) is built around a Kona Race Light 6061 aluminum 29" frame paired with a RockShox Recon Silver RL air-sprung fork offering 100mm of travel.

It's equipped with a Shimano Deore 1x12-speed drivetrain and a 10-51T cassette, Shimano MT410 hydraulic disc brakes, and Maxxis Forekaster 29x2.35" tires for efficient rolling on mixed trail surfaces.

This is a bike for a rider wanting an efficient, race-capable 29" hardtail with the widest gear range in the lineup for both steep climbs and fast descents.

Why You'll Like It

A race-light frame built for efficiency
The Kona Race Light 6061 aluminum frame is tuned for efficient pedaling, keeping the bike snappy on climbs and in sprints.

29" wheels for easier roll-over
The larger wheel diameter carries momentum through roots, rocks, and ruts more easily than a smaller wheel.

The widest gear range in the lineup
The Shimano Deore 1x12-speed drivetrain and 10-51T cassette give more climbing range than the 11-speed Cinder Cone.

Confident stopping power
Shimano MT410 hydraulic disc brakes with 180mm rotors give strong, consistent stopping on steep descents.

Who Is It For?

Suited to riders wanting an efficient, race-capable 29" hardtail with the widest gear range in the lineup for cross-country riding.

For riders in India tackling the cross-country trail networks near most major cities, the wide-range drivetrain and efficient frame genuinely help on longer, faster rides.

Good to Know

The air-sprung fork lets you fine-tune the ride feel with a shock pump, matching the suspension to your weight and riding style.
