The Merida Crossway 10V is an entry level hybrid bike which is built for comfort and a great all-around ride. Commute or ride with your mates on a bike that maximises comfort and is at home on the bike path or the dirt path. Merida designed this bike with a durable yet lightweight alloy double butted frame so that strength iisn't sacrificed for the lightweight design. The relaxed geometry is a fusion of road and mountain bike geometry, with a sloping top tube and oversized tubing offering reliable steering and a stiff frame.

You’ll power the Merida Crossway 10V with the 21 speed Shimano drivetrain giving you the range of gears to cruise along any challenging paths while you’re rolling on the wider 700x40c tires. While the Suntour suspension fork will ease the bumps and enable you to ride on rougher terrain. This really is a bike for the everyday rider, with mounts for mudguards, racks, and kickstands so that you can use this bike in any situation. The Merida Crossway 10V is a reliable hybrid bike built for fun, fitness, and getting from A to B. The Crossway is built with reliable Shimano parts for smooth and consistent functionality on every single ride.

Features

Crossway DT Frame:

6061 double butted and techno-formed aluminum frame. Equipped with mounts for rack, mudguards, and kickstand.

TFS Frame:

Our CROSSWAY TFS frame forms a link between our road and mountain bike frames in design and functionality. The steeply sloping top tube provides an excellent standover height in every riding situation, and the hidden cable routing underneath the down tube makes the frame look clean and protects the cables from moisture and dirt. The MTB-inspired oversized tubing and the tapered head tube provide superb frame stiffness and optimum steering precision.

Comfort:

Our CROSSWAY models are equipped with suspension forks and suspension seat posts, on most models, to iron out any surface bumps. Adjustable ahead stems are also fitted (now including our SPEED models), providing an adjustable riding position for maximum sitting comfort on the bike. The exceptions are the sportier models that feature a regular seat post and stem.

Adaptability:

Mudguards, racks, and kickstands can be added to all CROSSWAY models, making them usable in many circumstances.

Merida Bicycles are covered by the following warranty terms ensuring freedom from defects in materials and workmanship.Models from 2011 onwards are covered by the following warranty

*Note: A products lifetime is considered as 15 years.

Frameset:

Our frames are covered by a Lifetime Warranty for the entire ownership of the original purchaser. Exclusions apply. This applies to manufacturing and material defects and includes bikes used for racing
A rider and equipment weight limit of 120kg applies; 140kg for performance and hybrid eBikes.
Category 5 models carry a 5 year warranty

Forks: Carbon and aluminium rigid forks are guaranteed for 5 years from the date of purchase.

Merida branded components, including paint and finish, are guaranteed for 1 year from the date of purchase.
Bikes used for Racing are excluded.

All other original parts shall be covered exclusively by the stated warranty of their original manufacturer

Exclusions

Misuse or Negligence: The warranty does not cover damages resulting from misuse, abuse, or negligent handling of the products, including but not limited to improper installation, disassembly, or modification.
Unauthorized Repairs or Alterations: Any attempt to repair or alterations by individuals or service providers not authorized by the manufacturer will void the warranty.
Natural Wear and Tear: Normal wear and tear, including cosmetic deterioration, scratches, dents and fading over time, are excluded from the warranty coverage.
Accidents or External Forces: Damages caused by accidents, improper packing, collisions, unauthorized tampering or exposure to extreme external forces (e.g., impacts, falls, or severe weather conditions) are not covered under this warranty.
Incompatible Use: The warranty does not extend to damages resulting from using the products in ways inconsistent with their intended purpose or specifications.
Failure to Follow Instructions: Damages arising from a failure to follow the product's operating instructions, guidelines, or recommended practices as outlined in the user manual are not covered.
Battery Exclusions: For products with rechargeable Lithium-ion batteries, the warranty may exclude battery degradation over time or failures caused by non-compliance with proper charging procedures.
Third-Party Accessories: Damages caused by the use of third-party accessories, components, or modifications not explicitly approved by the manufacturer are not covered.
Failure to Provide Proof of Purchase: Warranty claims may require proof of purchase, and failure to provide such documentation may result in the exclusion of the product from warranty coverage.
