I will not recommend them as they surely are accident prone for Indian roads as well as offroader

been 6+yrs cycling on roads n off-road; same routes followed; issue of these tires is Knobs are placed very strange; any open verge/edge of tarred to concrete roads, slightest contact and you are going to face cycle pushed, swerved and at times skidding and fall.

Had 2 nasty falls (was fortunate not a single vehicle was close proximity).

Grip is very poor in even slightest wet conditions; forget muddy slushy terrains.

my <1000 ralson few months replacement tire were confidence boosting than these ones.

its less than 3 months; I have already placed order for continental cross king and maxxis dhf to replace both wtb tires.

At least; not at all for me; safety is major concern with these.

I will not recommend it for any Urban or even Offroad use

Its decent only on off-road terrains; even there take them on rocky patches or loose soil and you can experience lost grip.

if you have mounted this one or even WTB trail boss on front wheel and using it on Roads/Urban terrain where every other patch in India has those concrete road edges exposed due to some kind of road works or digging.

had 2 very bad falls; thank heavens there was no vehicle in close distance. In my 6+ years of riding, first time had to experience it that too on routes used regularly. even my 1000 INR ralson tires(replacement for worn our out Kenda for few months) never had this kind of bad experience.

you are going to regret putting this as knobs/tread is going to push against those edges and skidding badly is sure-shot.

any Wet surface; gripping is very poor even at very slower speeds.

if you get get hold of Maxxis DHF or Schawlbe Marathon plus or Continental Mountain or XCross King opt for them any day.

its just 3 months I have put them on both wheels; I am getting them replaced ASAP once Continental XCross King is delivered.

my experience and suggestion; Not at all for Indian road and terrain conditions

Amazing MTB tyres with dedicated front/back treads

Love these WTB Velociraptors. I went down from Continental Trail King 2.4 to 2.1 and was worried about grip. However these are light yet grippy in wet, mud, gravel slush. At a time when mountain bike tires were unquestionably gum walled, the VelociRaptors came out in black and haven't looked back ever since. They changed the game back in 1994 with a steering-specific front and a rear with wide knobs that could really dig. The VelociRaptors continue to be popular decades later because, to put it simply...they just work.
