With the PowerDome, ABUS expands its "Made in Italy" road bike helmet range. A lightweight helmet that symbolises the “dolce vita” and clear racing DNA. In the MIPS version, additional impact protection ensures carefree riding fun. The road bike helmet features MIPS impact protection, which can reduce the risk of serious head injuries in the event of a fall. It also combines the successful features of the top models with the tried and tested features of its predecessor, the Aventor: The PowerDome MIPS is very lightweight and individually adjustable to head circumference thanks to the Zoom Ace adjustment system. 10 air inlets and 7 air outlets ensure optimum air circulation in every riding situation - even in high temperatures. The sophisticated ventilation is also supplemented by a sleek air scoop on the helmet: It is modelled after the PowerDome of high-performance cars and gives the helmet its name as a functional design element. Whether on the next Gravel Tour, racing against the wind on the Tuscan coast or cycling through the city, The PowerDome MIPS brings the Italian lifestyle to every ride. This keeps the focus on the pleasure of riding. No rules, no dress code, no pressure to perform. With this helmet, the journey becomes the destination!

  • Ponytail Fit: thanks to the opening in the height-adjustable adjustment system, the helmet is also suitable for long hairstyles such as ponytails, buns, or braids
  • Mips layer: thin plastic shell located between the inner padding and the energy-absorbing shell of the helmet to counteract rotational forces in the event of a fall
  • Zoom™ Spin adjustment system: rotary wheel at the back of the head for individual adjustment of the helmet to the head size
  • Stitched straps: for optimum aerodynamics, the straps are sewn and therefore do not require any strap dividers – this means they fit particularly snugly and do not flap while riding
  • Comfort Pads: soft padded inserts for optimum comfort, attached to the helmet with Velcro
