it doesnt insulate your bums from splashes!

its a very nice looking, stylish guard for your roadie.. i love having it. but its effectiveness is only 50%.. good thing is it only weighs 19gms and you wont feel it anyway!! something to cover your back somewhat.. but not all of your backside:)

Does what its supposed to do. Keep the jersey clean and the butt area of the shorts dry. Got to use in the first rain in light drizzle. Luckily the jersey stayed clean on finishing the ride. Dor those who this this is a replacement for full fenders No its not. This is for riders who want to use minimal protection from water or splashes. Stayed locked in all during the ride. Good to use all year round and highly recommended for daily commuters. The price is justified by the ease of installation, quality of materials and prints. Some may find it priced higher but swedish lineage justifies that. Totally satisfied with this and might consider getting a newer design next season.
