Overview

The Teammachine R 01 is BMC's aero-focused race platform, built around Aerocore tube shaping and a one-piece ICS carbon cockpit to cut drag without piling on weight.

This FOUR build pairs that aero frame with Shimano Ultegra Di2 electronic shifting and a 4iiii power meter fitted as standard, so serious training data comes built in rather than bolted on afterward. 50mm-deep CR 50 SL carbon wheels keep the aero theme running through to the tires, while Pirelli P Zero Race rubber and hydraulic disc brakes give it the grip and control to back up the straight-line speed when the road turns technical.

  • Di2 shifting and the 4iiii power meter both run on their own rechargeable batteries - keep an eye on both before race day.
  • Tire clearance tops out at 30mm, so the stock 26mm Pirelli P Zero Race tires can be sized up modestly within that limit for a touch more comfort.
  • Tubeless-ready CR 50 SL wheels can be set up tubeless for lower rolling resistance and pinch-flat protection when you're ready to make the switch.
