Cervelo P5 Time Trial Triathlon Frameset (Imperial)
0M0P5FFS3X54
Cervélo's flagship time trial and triathlon platform — the same frame raced to Tour de France and Giro d'Italia stage wins, built for one thing: getting from Point A to Point B as fast as possible.
Overview
The P5 is Cervélo's dedicated time trial and triathlon frameset, race-proven at the highest level of the sport including Team Jumbo-Visma's Giro d'Italia and Tour de France victories. The frame uses a one-piece front end — first developed for Cervélo's S5 — combining the fork and basebar into a single adjustable unit that simplifies assembly and reduces frontal area.
Tire clearance runs up to 34mm on wide rims, letting you run genuinely fast, low-rolling-resistance tires without compromising the frame's aerodynamic profile. The basebar sits lower than the previous generation for reduced CdA, while extensions adjust from 0 to 30 degrees in 5-degree increments and stack height adjusts up to 40mm, giving you real precision in dialing in a race position. Integrated storage — a Smartpak top-tube bag, aero water bottle, and rear hydration mount — is built in for triathletes who need to fuel through long-course racing without breaking their aero position.
This is a frame for triathletes and time trial specialists who want the genuine article — the platform Cervélo's own engineering and wind-tunnel program was built around, not a road bike with clip-on bars.
Why You'll Like It
Race-proven at the highest level
The same P5 platform that's delivered Grand Tour stage wins — genuine WorldTour pedigree, not just triathlon marketing.
One-piece front end
Fork and basebar combine into a single adjustable unit, simplifying assembly and reducing frontal area versus a separate stem-and-bar setup.
Real tire clearance for real speed
Up to 34mm tire clearance on wide rims means genuinely low rolling resistance without giving up the frame's aero profile.
Built-in triathlon nutrition storage
A Smartpak top-tube bag, aero water bottle, and rear hydration mount are integrated into the frame design, not bolted on as an afterthought.
Genuine position adjustability
40mm of stack adjustment and 0-30 degree extension tilt in 5-degree increments give you the precision to dial in a race-day position that actually works for your body.
Who Is It For?
This frameset suits serious time trial specialists and long-course triathletes who want a dedicated, no-compromise aero platform rather than a road bike adapted with clip-on bars. It's a significant investment aimed at riders who race TTs and triathlons regularly and will use the frame's full adjustability and integrated storage.
In India, the frame's disc-brake platform and 12x100/12x142 thru-axle standard mean straightforward wheel and component sourcing through any modern disc-brake-compatible supplier.
Good to Know
A proper bike fit is essential on a frame this adjustable — have your BOTS fitter dial in your position using the full range of stack, extension angle and pad placement before your first serious ride. This frame is designed for electronic drivetrains; confirm your groupset choice is Di2 or AXS compatible before your build begins. The integrated storage system takes some getting used to — ask your mechanic to walk you through it at pickup.
