The SLA Compact RA-513 is Controltech's step-up alloy handlebar, built from 7050 aluminium alloy rather than the more common 6061-T6 used on entry-level bars - a stronger, more premium alloy grade for a bar that's still built around everyday reliability rather than a carbon price tag.

It runs a standard 31.8mm clamp diameter with a 75mm reach and 125mm drop, plus a 4-degree outward flare in the drops for a secure grip when you're out of the saddle. Cable routing is external, via grooved channels rather than fully internal ports, but it's still compatible with Shimano's New Di2 Junction Box for a tidy electronic-groupset finish.

At 400mm centre-to-centre, this width sits in the middle of Controltech's range - a practical, versatile choice for most riders setting up a new build or replacing a worn bar.
