Overview

The Superbox DCR is Deda's forged alloy stem, the evolution of the well-known SuperZero, designed to work with fully integrated cable routing when paired with Deda's DCR handlebars. Its flat, 3D-forged shape helps aerodynamics and keeps the front end tidy.

What sets it apart is flexibility: the same stem can be used four ways — full internal routing (DCR), semi-internal routing (S-DCR), direct routing, or external cables — so it adapts to almost any cable-routing solution. The stem package includes special spacers that provide channels for the cable housings, and the spacers and nylon cover are slit so they can be added or removed without disconnecting everything. It has a 6061 alloy body with black steel bolts, and comes in a Polish-on-Black finish.

Good to Know

Full internal routing (DCR) is intended for electronic groupsets (up to three cables), while the semi-internal S-DCR option fits any groupset and configuration (up to four cables). It fits a standard 1-1/8" steerer and a 31.7/31.8mm bar clamp, so confirm your bar and steerer before ordering. Have your BOTS mechanic handle installation and cable routing, and torque bolts to spec.
