I found these tapes to be far more comfortable than grips on my MTB. My handlebar has been converted to an ALT type handlebar and I have wrapped its horns with these tapes. Excellent comfort and control in day to day riding. Also a bit durable since my bike had a fall recently!
Cushioning is good.... But only problem was glue. It was not stick
