As its name used to adjust the spike nuts 😀. The forging is of good quality and do not slip on the nipple nut and ruining it. Since the edges are sharp for a good fit, it can damage the black finish of spooks, cannot recommend it for a pro wheel builder, nice tool for a home mechs kit.
Nicely built. Occasional tensioning of the spokes is easy and, yes bang for buck!
A very good tool to keep in handy. Use it to tune the spoke.
