Giant TCR Advanced 2 - PC (Capri Blue)
1096058203
A race-ready road bike for riders who want genuine TCR pedigree at a more accessible price, with a Shimano 105 groupset and a composite fork built for sharp handling and steering precision.
Overview
The TCR Advanced 2 - PC takes the same design philosophy as Giant's flagship TCR race platform — a high stiffness-to-weight ratio combined with strategically placed aero tube shaping for faster climbing, explosive acceleration, and unyielding pedalling stiffness. Every tube shape is engineered to keep drag low across a wide range of yaw angles, the same aerodynamic approach used on the full-composite TCR models, built here on an ALUXX SL-grade aluminium frame to bring that platform to a more accessible price.
A full-composite fork delivers torsional stiffness for sharp handling and steering precision, while the Giant WheelSystem's tubeless-ready setup allows lower tyre pressures for increased grip and a reduced risk of punctures. A Shimano 105 hydraulic groupset keeps shifting and braking dependable and easy to service, and the Giant Variant composite seatpost adds a worthwhile dose of compliance on longer rides.
It's the right choice for a rider who wants the TCR's race-winning handling characteristics without the cost of a full-composite frame and higher-tier groupset.
Why You'll Like It
- Race-bred handling: The same stiffness-to-weight philosophy and aero tube shaping as Giant's flagship TCR carries over to a more accessible aluminium frame.
- Sharp, precise steering: The full-composite fork delivers torsional stiffness for confident handling through fast corners.
- Lower rolling resistance, fewer flats: The tubeless-ready Giant WheelSystem lets you run lower tyre pressures for increased grip and reduced puncture risk.
- Dependable, well-proven groupset: The Shimano 105 hydraulic groupset is easy to service and widely supported at bike shops across India.
- Comfort without losing stiffness: The Giant Variant composite seatpost adds compliance on longer rides without compromising power transfer.
Who Is It For?
The TCR Advanced 2 - PC suits a rider who wants the handling pedigree of Giant's race platform but doesn't need the lightest possible full-composite frame. It's a strong fit for a serious club rider or racer in India who wants genuine race-winning characteristics at a more accessible price point.
It also works well for a rider upgrading from an entry-level road bike who wants a meaningful step up in stiffness and handling precision, with a Shimano 105 groupset that's easy to maintain long-term.
Good to Know
The tubeless-ready wheelset and tyres are set up to run without extra conversion, letting riders take advantage of lower pressures for grip and puncture resistance right away. This colourway is available in XS, S, and M sizes.
