  • Giant uses premium High Performance Grade carbon fiber for its frames , which has a high stiffness-to-weight ratio . This material is produced in Giant 's composite factory and guarantees top-notch workmanship. The front triangle of the frame is manufactured and shaped as a single piece using a patented Modified Monocoque Construction process , which ensures maximum strength, low weight and precise handling.
  • Overdrive technology is a front fork steerer design that is designed to stiffen the front of the frame and steering assembly for precise steering control. This system features oversized headset bearings (1 1/4" lower and 1 1/8" upper on road bikes and 1 1/2" lower and 1 1/8" upper on mountain bikes) and a tapered steerer, which work together to provide optimal steering stiffness.

Warranty

Giant Bicycles are covered by the following warranty terms ensuring freedom from defects in materials and workmanship.

Prerequisite for Bike Warranty:
Bike registration should be done on www.giantindia.com within 15 days of purchase, failing to which warranty will not be applicable

Warranty of 5 years for:

  • Bicycle frame (Expect for downhill)
  • Rigid fork

Warranty of 3 years for:

  • Bicycle frame for a downhill bike

Warranty of 1 year for:

  • Paint finish and Decals
  • All other original parts (excluding non-Giant brand parts, all non-Giant brand parts shall be covered exclusively by the stated warranty of their original manufacturer)

Exclusions
  • Misuse or Negligence: The warranty does not cover damages resulting from misuse, abuse, or negligent handling of the products, including but not limited to improper installation, disassembly, or modification.
  • Unauthorized Repairs or Alterations: Any attempt to repair or alterations by individuals or service providers not authorized by the manufacturer will void the warranty.
  • Natural Wear and Tear: Normal wear and tear, including cosmetic deterioration, scratches, dents and fading over time, are excluded from the warranty coverage.
  • Accidents or External Forces: Damages caused by accidents, improper packing, collisions, unauthorized tampering or exposure to extreme external forces (e.g., impacts, falls, or severe weather conditions) are not covered under this warranty.
  • Incompatible Use: The warranty does not extend to damages resulting from using the products in ways inconsistent with their intended purpose or specifications.
  • Failure to Follow Instructions: Damages arising from a failure to follow the product's operating instructions, guidelines, or recommended practices as outlined in the user manual are not covered.
  • Battery Exclusions: For products with rechargeable Lithium-ion batteries, the warranty may exclude battery degradation over time or failures caused by non-compliance with proper charging procedures.
  • Third-Party Accessories: Damages caused by the use of third-party accessories, components, or modifications not explicitly approved by the manufacturer are not covered.
