The Merida Crossway 10V is an entry-level hybrid bike that is built for comfort and a great all-around ride. Commute or ride with your mates on a bike that maximizes comfort and is at home on the bike path or the dirt path. Merida designed this bike with a durable yet lightweight alloy double-butted frame so that strength isn't sacrificed for the lightweight design. The relaxed geometry is a fusion of road and mountain bike geometry, with a sloping top tube and oversized tubing offering reliable steering and a stiff frame.

You’ll power the Merida Crossway 10V with the 21 speed Shimano drivetrain giving you the range of gears to cruise along any challenging paths while you’re rolling on the wider 700x40c tires. While the Suntour suspension fork will ease the bumps and enable you to ride on rougher terrain. This really is a bike for the everyday rider, with mounts for mudguards, racks, and kickstands so that you can use this bike in any situation. The Merida Crossway 10V is a reliable hybrid bike built for fun, fitness, and getting from A to B. The Crossway is built with reliable Shimano parts for smooth and consistent functionality on every single ride.

Features

HYDRAULIC DISC BRAKES

All models feature powerful and easy to modulate hydraulic disc brakes. Hydraulic disc brakes offer great stopping power in any weather, are more or less maintenance-free, and are not affected by rough or kinked cables.

ADAPTABILITY

All models have the ability to add mudguards, making them more versatile, particularly when used as a training or commuting bike. The removable seat stay bridge stays in place to securely hold the rear mudguard or gets removed for a cleaner look and improved mud clearance

COMFORT

All our CROSSWAY models are equipped with suspension forks to iron out any surface bumps. Adjustable ahead stems and suspension seat posts are also fitted on most SPEED models, providing extra comfort and an adjustable riding position. The sportier TFS models feature a regular seat post and stem to reduce weight

SAFETY FIRST

All CROSSWAY 100 up to XT-EDITION models feature tires with reflective strips on their sidewalls, improving visibility on the road.

Merida Bicycles are covered by the following warranty terms ensuring freedom from defects in materials and workmanship.Models from 2011 onwards are covered by the following warranty

*Note: A products lifetime is considered as 15 years.

Frameset:

Our frames are covered by a Lifetime Warranty for the entire ownership of the original purchaser. Exclusions apply. This applies to manufacturing and material defects and includes bikes used for racing
A rider and equipment weight limit of 120kg applies; 140kg for performance and hybrid eBikes.
Category 5 models carry a 5 year warranty

Forks: Carbon and aluminium rigid forks are guaranteed for 5 years from the date of purchase.

Merida branded components, including paint and finish, are guaranteed for 1 year from the date of purchase.
Bikes used for Racing are excluded.

All other original parts shall be covered exclusively by the stated warranty of their original manufacturer

Exclusions

Misuse or Negligence: The warranty does not cover damages resulting from misuse, abuse, or negligent handling of the products, including but not limited to improper installation, disassembly, or modification.
Unauthorized Repairs or Alterations: Any attempt to repair or alterations by individuals or service providers not authorized by the manufacturer will void the warranty.
Natural Wear and Tear: Normal wear and tear, including cosmetic deterioration, scratches, dents and fading over time, are excluded from the warranty coverage.
Accidents or External Forces: Damages caused by accidents, improper packing, collisions, unauthorized tampering or exposure to extreme external forces (e.g., impacts, falls, or severe weather conditions) are not covered under this warranty.
Incompatible Use: The warranty does not extend to damages resulting from using the products in ways inconsistent with their intended purpose or specifications.
Failure to Follow Instructions: Damages arising from a failure to follow the product's operating instructions, guidelines, or recommended practices as outlined in the user manual are not covered.
Battery Exclusions: For products with rechargeable Lithium-ion batteries, the warranty may exclude battery degradation over time or failures caused by non-compliance with proper charging procedures.
Third-Party Accessories: Damages caused by the use of third-party accessories, components, or modifications not explicitly approved by the manufacturer are not covered.
Failure to Provide Proof of Purchase: Warranty claims may require proof of purchase, and failure to provide such documentation may result in the exclusion of the product from warranty coverage.
Exclusion for Water Damage: Any damage relating to damage caused by water because some products are water repellant but not Water Proof
Non-specified conditions: Not includes damaged caused to products by improper accessories or improper fittings or for use in non specified conditions
