The Crossway 100 is the accessible entry point into Merida's Crossway trekking range — you still get the same core idea as the 300 above it: a comfort-focused aluminium frame, a lockable suspension fork, and wide tyres, just paired with a simpler Shimano CUES 2x9 drivetrain to keep the price down.

The SR Suntour NEX HLO fork brings 63mm of travel with a lockout lever, so you can firm up the front end for efficient road riding or open it for rougher paths. Shimano CUES handles the 18-speed range with an emphasis on low maintenance, and Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brakes give confident stopping regardless of conditions. Kenda Ambra tyres at 45mm wide add comfort and grip without feeling heavy on tarmac.

Merida Bicycles are covered by the following warranty terms ensuring freedom from defects in materials and workmanship.Models from 2011 onwards are covered by the following warranty

*Note: A products lifetime is considered as 15 years.

Frameset:

Our frames are covered by a Lifetime Warranty for the entire ownership of the original purchaser. Exclusions apply. This applies to manufacturing and material defects and includes bikes used for racing
A rider and equipment weight limit of 120kg applies; 140kg for performance and hybrid eBikes.
Category 5 models carry a 5 year warranty

Forks: Carbon and aluminium rigid forks are guaranteed for 5 years from the date of purchase.

Merida branded components, including paint and finish, are guaranteed for 1 year from the date of purchase.
Bikes used for Racing are excluded.

All other original parts shall be covered exclusively by the stated warranty of their original manufacturer

Exclusions

Misuse or Negligence: The warranty does not cover damages resulting from misuse, abuse, or negligent handling of the products, including but not limited to improper installation, disassembly, or modification.
Unauthorized Repairs or Alterations: Any attempt to repair or alterations by individuals or service providers not authorized by the manufacturer will void the warranty.
Natural Wear and Tear: Normal wear and tear, including cosmetic deterioration, scratches, dents and fading over time, are excluded from the warranty coverage.
Accidents or External Forces: Damages caused by accidents, improper packing, collisions, unauthorized tampering or exposure to extreme external forces (e.g., impacts, falls, or severe weather conditions) are not covered under this warranty.
Incompatible Use: The warranty does not extend to damages resulting from using the products in ways inconsistent with their intended purpose or specifications.
Failure to Follow Instructions: Damages arising from a failure to follow the product's operating instructions, guidelines, or recommended practices as outlined in the user manual are not covered.
Battery Exclusions: For products with rechargeable Lithium-ion batteries, the warranty may exclude battery degradation over time or failures caused by non-compliance with proper charging procedures.
