It's a dependable, comfort-tuned trekking hybrid for riders who want a wide gear range and Alivio-level shifting reliability.
Why You'll Like It
A genuinely wide 27-speed range — the Samox triple crank and Shimano Alivio rear derailleur handle steep climbs and fast flats with ease.
Alivio-level shifting reliability — a step up from entry-level Tourney or Altus groupsets, with smoother, more precise shifts.
A suspension seatpost and adjustable stem — add genuine comfort tuning alongside the suspension fork.
Confident stopping in all conditions — Tektro M275 hydraulic disc brakes give strong, controlled braking whatever the weather.
Wide tyres with reflective sidewalls — add grip, comfort, and a genuine low-light visibility margin.
Who Is It For?
This Crossway 100 generation suits a rider who wants a genuinely wide gear range and Alivio-level shifting reliability for hilly commutes or mixed-terrain riding.
For riders navigating varied road surfaces and wanting a bike they can properly dial in to their own comfort preference, the suspension seatpost and adjustable stem give a level of personal fit that a simpler hybrid can't match.
Good to Know
- A triple chainring rewards a light touch when shifting under load — easing off the pedals briefly during a front shift keeps it smooth.
- The adjustable stem can be repositioned to change your reach and hand height — it's worth spending a ride or two finding the setting that feels most natural.
- Keep the fork's lockout lever in mind on longer smooth-road stretches to save a bit of pedaling effort.
