Aluminum welding is the strong point of our factories. 48 years of product knowledge and experience go into every frame we make. The MATTS is one of the most long-standing bike categories in our history and is proud to carry the name MERIDA.

Features

COMFORT INSPIRED HARDTAIL GEOMETRY

A more compact top tube, paired with a higher front end, provides the MATTS with a more upright riding position, delivering extra riding comfort for the rider as well as a better view of what lies ahead.

650B or 26" WHEELS

Our MATTS offer either 650B or 26" wheels, depending on model and frame size. The top models of the MATTS line-up feature fast rolling 650B wheels, while the middle range offers the smaller models with easy to accelerate 26" wheels. The MATTS 10-V entry model comes with 26" wheels throughout all frame sizes.

KIT ME OUT

The MATTS frames have bosses and fixture points to attach a water bottle cage, rear fenders, a rear rack, and a kickstand, making it super versatile if and when it gets used as a commuter or more urban-focused bike.

Technology

RACELITE 61 ALUMINIUM

We use a minimum of 6061 aluminium. The payback is that it’s possible to make lighter and more advanced frames. We use additional heat treatment and double-butted wall thicknesses to produce light and stiff frames.

F-MOUNT

‘F-mount equipped bikes have integrated fittings for mud guards (some bikes require model specific mud guards), making fitting fast and simple.

K-MOUNT

Integrated mount on the chainstay to fit a MERIDA kickstand (or any commercial kickstand).

C-MOUNT

‘C-Mount’ equipped bikes have the fixing points for a rear rack already integrated (some bikes require model specific rear rack), making fitting fast, simple and reliable.

Merida Bicycles are covered by the following warranty terms ensuring freedom from defects in materials and workmanship.Models from 2011 onwards are covered by the following warranty

*Note: A products lifetime is considered as 15 years.

Frameset:

Our frames are covered by a Lifetime Warranty for the entire ownership of the original purchaser. Exclusions apply. This applies to manufacturing and material defects and includes bikes used for racing
A rider and equipment weight limit of 120kg applies; 140kg for performance and hybrid eBikes.
Category 5 models carry a 5 year warranty

Forks: Carbon and aluminium rigid forks are guaranteed for 5 years from the date of purchase.

Merida branded components, including paint and finish, are guaranteed for 1 year from the date of purchase.
Bikes used for Racing are excluded.

All other original parts shall be covered exclusively by the stated warranty of their original manufacturer

Exclusions

Misuse or Negligence: The warranty does not cover damages resulting from misuse, abuse, or negligent handling of the products, including but not limited to improper installation, disassembly, or modification.
Unauthorized Repairs or Alterations: Any attempt to repair or alterations by individuals or service providers not authorized by the manufacturer will void the warranty.
Natural Wear and Tear: Normal wear and tear, including cosmetic deterioration, scratches, dents and fading over time, are excluded from the warranty coverage.
Accidents or External Forces: Damages caused by accidents, improper packing, collisions, unauthorized tampering or exposure to extreme external forces (e.g., impacts, falls, or severe weather conditions) are not covered under this warranty.
Incompatible Use: The warranty does not extend to damages resulting from using the products in ways inconsistent with their intended purpose or specifications.
Failure to Follow Instructions: Damages arising from a failure to follow the product's operating instructions, guidelines, or recommended practices as outlined in the user manual are not covered.
Battery Exclusions: For products with rechargeable Lithium-ion batteries, the warranty may exclude battery degradation over time or failures caused by non-compliance with proper charging procedures.
Third-Party Accessories: Damages caused by the use of third-party accessories, components, or modifications not explicitly approved by the manufacturer are not covered.
Failure to Provide Proof of Purchase: Warranty claims may require proof of purchase, and failure to provide such documentation may result in the exclusion of the product from warranty coverage.
Exclusion for Water Damage: Any damage relating to damage caused by water because some products are water repellant but not Water Proof
Non-specified conditions: Not includes damaged caused to products by improper accessories or improper fittings or for use in non specified conditions
