Whether you are looking for a fast commuter or a comfortable yet easy-to-accelerate bike for a more sporty outing, the SPEEDER combines a lightweight aluminium frame with a full carbon fork and top-quality components.

Influenced by our road bike range, the SPEEDER 400 combines quality road components with a lightweight aluminium frame and full carbon forks. The end result is a fast, agile and fun-to-ride flat-barred road bike (fitness bike) that loves tackling the daily commute as much as being taken out for long fast road outings at the weekend. Multiple fixing points allow bottle cages, fenders and a rear rack to be fitted, increasing the versatility of our fitness bikes even further.

Fast and lightweight, the SPEEDER shares its genes with our road bike range. The geometry offers an extended reach for added stability while providing a more upright and comfortable riding position. The sporty yet comfort-inspired geometry paired with control-enhancing flat handlebars and powerful disc brakes makes the SPEEDER ideal for fast commuting or fitness rides. Wider tyres and more tyre clearance underline the comfort element even further and give the SPEEDER more grip when it counts. Road.cc call the 900 an 'excellent fast flat-bar road bike with awesome performance' and the 200 'an enjoyable flat-barred flyer for fitness, commuting and everyday riding'.

WARRANTY

Merida Bicycles are covered by the following warranty terms ensuring freedom from defects in materials and workmanship.Models from 2011 onwards are covered by the following warranty
Frameset:

Limited Lifetime Warranty for the Frameset only against structural defects in material or workmanship.
A rider and equipment weight limit of 120kg applies; 140kg for performance and hybrid eBikes.
Category 5 models carry a 5 year warranty

Forks: Carbon and aluminium rigid forks are guaranteed for 5 years from the date of purchase.

Merida branded components, including paint and finish, are guaranteed for 1 year from the date of purchase.
Bikes used for Racing are excluded.

All other original parts shall be covered exclusively by the stated warranty of their original manufacturer

Exclusions

Misuse or Negligence: The warranty does not cover damages resulting from misuse, abuse, or negligent handling of the products, including but not limited to improper installation, disassembly, or modification.
Unauthorized Repairs or Alterations: Any attempt to repair or alter the bicycle lights by individuals or service providers not authorized by the manufacturer will void the warranty.
Natural Wear and Tear: Normal wear and tear, including cosmetic deterioration, scratches, and fading over time, are excluded from the warranty coverage.
Accidents or External Forces: Damages caused by accidents, collisions, or exposure to extreme external forces (e.g., impacts, falls, or severe weather conditions) are not covered under this warranty.
Incompatible Use: The warranty does not extend to damages resulting from using the bicycle lights & Computers in ways inconsistent with their intended purpose or specifications.
Failure to Follow Instructions: Damages arising from a failure to follow the product's operating instructions, guidelines, or recommended practices as outlined in the user manual are not covered.
Battery Exclusions: For products with rechargeable batteries, the warranty may exclude battery degradation over time or failures caused by non-compliance with proper charging procedures.
Third-Party Accessories: Damages caused by the use of third-party accessories, components, or modifications not explicitly approved by the manufacturer are not covered.
Failure to Provide Proof of Purchase: Warranty claims may require proof of purchase, and failure to provide such documentation may result in the exclusion of the product from warranty coverage.
