Niterider Lights are covered by a warranty ensuring freedom from defects in materials and workmanship for Limited** Lifetime.

*Note: A products lifetime is considered as 15 years.

**Duration of Warranty

• Limited lifetime warranty: Covers any defects in mechanical components (housings, covers, mounts and fasteners) and LEDs.
• 2-year warranty: Printed circuit boards, switches and AC adapters
• 1-year Warranty: Rechargeable battery cells

Exclusions

Misuse or Negligence: The warranty does not cover damages resulting from misuse, abuse, or negligent handling of the products, including but not limited to improper installation, disassembly, or modification.
Unauthorized Repairs or Alterations: Any attempt to repair or alterations by individuals or service providers not authorized by the manufacturer will void the warranty.
Natural Wear and Tear: Normal wear and tear, including cosmetic deterioration, scratches, dents and fading over time, are excluded from the warranty coverage.
Accidents or External Forces: Damages caused by accidents, improper packing, collisions, unauthorized tampering or exposure to extreme external forces (e.g., impacts, falls, or severe weather conditions) are not covered under this warranty.
Incompatible Use: The warranty does not extend to damages resulting from using the products in ways inconsistent with their intended purpose or specifications.

NiteRider Mako 250 Front Light

Had an issue with the NiteRider Mako 250 Front Light. Its locking mechanism had failed within two months. Rahul of "Bumsonthesaddle" helped in getting me a replacement for the locking bracket. Without it the Mako 250 would have been useless. So, thanks Rahul for the timely help. Mako 250 would need a more robust locking system (non-plastic) for it to endure continuous opening of battery enclosure. Mako 250 otherwise is a quality product.

Quality & Usefulness

The NiteRider Mako 250 Front Light has good illumination and a quality body. However, the battery compartment locking mechanism is prone to damage. My unit failed in less than two months' time. Hope manufacturer is able to solve this issue.
