Doesn't keep you dry enough

The fitting etc is nice, but it doesn't keep you dry enough during rides. I was using Nike's dri-fit T-shirts before this and they were more comfortable than this jersey. I've two shorts of this brand and they are quite good. But I am not happy with the jersy as it is not comfortable even for 50 km rides.
Since this is my first jersy, so I am not sure if someone is supposed to keep phone in the back pocket. But my phone got quite during the ride when I put it in the back pocket.
