Excellent value Desi tires

I was on the lookout for cheap 28c tires to replace my worn out Schwalbe Duranos, and was pleasantly surprised to come across these Ortem (Metro) tires. Although a bit skeptical about clearance issues on my rim brake frame, these tires are exactly 28 mm wide and mount easily. Excellent tread pattern and extreme value for money.

Excellent value desi tires

I had been on the lookout for replacements for my worn Schwalbe Durano tires that came originally fitted to my Scott Addict, but the cost of foreign brand tires had me delaying the purchase. When searching BOTS for tires with good puncture protection, mileage, and a hardy tread, I was surprised to see an Indian brand tire that met my criteria without breaking the bank. Although a bit skeptical about the potential clearance problems a wired 28c tire might pose (because that's the maximum my rim brakes would allow), I went ahead and ordered one tire. The delivery was quick, and I was amazed at the quality of the tire construction. Despite being a wired tire, it was easy to mount even with a tire liner underneath it. Best of all, it measures exactly 27.5 mm when mounted on my Syncros rim (my 28c Duranos measure 29 mm after mounting). So, I'm really happy with the purchase and the excellent quality of the Ortem (or Metro) tire, so much so that I've ordered another one for my rear wheel.
