Description
Regular lubrication of bicycle chains addresses annoying squeaks and noises, and extends the life of the chain and drivetrain components. Formulated using PTFE and a proprietary blend of oils, Park Tool CL-1 Chain Lube works great in wet or dry conditions. It penetrates, reduces friction, prolongs component life, displaces moisture, and protects parts from rust and corrosion. Compatible with all bicycle chains.
Also works great as general-purpose light lubricant for use on bicycle brake and derailleur cables and housing, spoke nipples, and derailleur and brake pivots.

The lube works as indented but it attracts a lot of dirt due to which i need to clean the chain almost every week. So pls consider that while buying this product.
Well, Park tools lube is extremely viscous. Due to which it attracts a lot of dirt within a ride or two. As I ride in Mumbai, I think I bring back home a lot of the grim of the city with me. Yes, it can get difficult to clean the chain and the jockey wheels also end up with grim. I bought this as it was cheap but later realised that the health of the drive train is important. Now if I use it, I would do so only if my bike is on the smart trainer and never for outdoor rides.
Quite thick and easy to apply. Doesn't make the chain too black . Attracts sand and dirt to some extent, but overall I am happy with the performance. A single round of application was not enough( probably cos I stripped the chain fully before applying it), was making some noise. So applied a second round and chain is running smooth.
A very viscous lube. Need a proper degreaser to clean should you be using on your chain. Very effective to be used on cables and pivot points. Value for money…
Runs smoothest but very oily and very difficult to get rid of while cleaning drivetrain.
