Description

The Park Tool Bottom Bracket Tool Retaining System (BBT-RS) ensures secure and full engagement of your bottom bracket tool, preventing slippage during removal or installation. It uses a spring-based tension system for consistent pressure and works with most Park Tool bottom bracket tools. The BBT-RS is compatible with most threaded and thread-together bottom bracket standards, featuring an M8 threaded rod and a double-sided adapter nut with M12 and M15 threads for versatile use. It can also install Park Tool's aluminum bottom bracket tools that have integrated threading.

Park Tool products are covered by the following warranty terms ensuring freedom from defects in materials and workmanship.

Warranty Coverage:

  • 1 year warranty for cleaning brushes, pumps, stools, torque wrenches, electronic tools, motors and power supplies.
  • Rest all products come with Lifetime warranty

Exclusions
  • Misuse or Negligence: The warranty does not cover damages resulting from misuse, abuse, or negligent handling of the products, including but not limited to improper installation, disassembly, or modification.
  • Unauthorized Repairs or Alterations: Any attempt to repair or alterations by individuals or service providers not authorized by the manufacturer will void the warranty.
  • Natural Wear and Tear: Normal wear and tear, including cosmetic deterioration, scratches, dents and fading over time, are excluded from the warranty coverage.
  • Accidents or External Forces: Damages caused by accidents, improper packing, collisions, unauthorized tampering or exposure to extreme external forces (e.g., impacts, falls, or severe weather conditions) are not covered under this warranty.
  • Incompatible Use: The warranty does not extend to damages resulting from using the products in ways inconsistent with their intended purpose or specifications.
  • Failure to Follow Instructions: Damages arising from a failure to follow the product's operating instructions, guidelines, or recommended practices as outlined in the user manual are not covered.
  • Battery Exclusions: For products with rechargeable Lithium-ion batteries, the warranty may exclude battery degradation over time or failures caused by non-compliance with proper charging procedures.
  • Third-Party Accessories: Damages caused by the use of third-party accessories, components, or modifications not explicitly approved by the manufacturer are not covered.
