Overview
The Q2S reads movement and vibration through a built-in sensor, turning on automatically in low light and switching off after around 30 seconds of being stationary — then instantly reactivating the moment it senses vibration again. When it detects braking, it jumps to maximum brightness for about 3 seconds in whichever mode you're in, giving traffic behind you a clear warning.
Four lighting modes — slow flash, breathing flash, burst flash, and always on — cycle with a single button press, and a memory function recalls your last-used mode so you're not reselecting it every ride. The 260mAh battery charges over USB-C and delivers long runtime depending on mode, with an LED indicator showing battery status at a glance.
At roughly 22g and about 3 x 2.9 x 3.8cm, it's genuinely compact, with an IPX6 rating that handles sudden rain, and the included bracket mounts without tools.
