The Shimano G04S-MX brake pads have a metallic lining on a steel backing plate without cooling fins. They are compatible with XTR brakes up to and including model M9000, with XT, SLX, Deore and some Road 2-piston disc brakes. The pads inspire with top braking performance, outstanding durability and special fade resistance. They are also above average in terms of dosage. These features make the G04S-MX perfect for extreme use in sand and mud.
