the first thing i noticed after i started riding was that paddling had become easier. Cycling had become more energy efficient. it is also quite comfortable but if you want to sit on it for more than an hour, or if you are overweight, you will need to wear padded cycling shorts. the texture of the seat feels slippery to the skin but it is very good against cloth, the right amount of friction, it keeps you in place and does not pull at you when you are dismounting. but in the end, it is a seat and your preference for comfort, sit bones and riding style will dictate if it works for you or not.
