Lowside picks up where Surly's original 1x1 Rat Ride left off — singlespeeding has been part of Surly's DNA since day one, and this bike channels that straight into a modern, trail-ready package. It's built to be genuinely fun: no gears to think about, no suspension to set up, just a simple bike that's ready whenever you are.
The build runs a SRAM NX Eagle 32T crank with a Surly 17T cog and spacer kit, no derailleurs or shift levers to worry about, stopped by Tektro HD-M275/276 hydraulic disc brakes. WTB ST i35 TCS wheels are wrapped in Maxxis Rekon+ 27.5 x 2.8" tubeless-ready tires, with a color-matched Surly Sunset handlebar tying the whole build together.
