The Wahoo ELEMENT ROAM GPS bike computer is built for the ride. Its smart navigation features allow for on-device navigation including “Back on Track” re-routing which will get you to your destination even if you veer off course. The ELEMNT ROAM is the first Wahoo bike computer to include a color screen. When combined with the crystal-clear 2.7" Gorilla Glass© display, it makes seeing your routes and data easier, so you can go back to focusing on your ride. The ELEMNT ROAM also includes an ambient light sensor, so the screen backlight and LED lights will automatically adjust based on lighting conditions both indoors and outdoors. With longer battery life, you can explore for up to 17 hours before you need to recharge. The ELEMNT ROAM GPS bike computer makes it simple to explore - whether you need turn-by-turn directions or just want to find the fastest way home. Its on-device navigation features and powerful integrations are designed to help you roam with confidence.

  • Pre-loaded with maps of North America, Europe, Asia, Oceania, and South America. Maps for Russia, Asia, and Africa can be downloaded over WiFi.
  • When synced with compatible accounts (Strava, Ride With GPS, Best Bike Split, Komoot, MTB Project, SingleTracks), your saved routes will be automatically & wirelessly downloaded to the ELEMNT ROAM.
  • All the magic of WiFi route syncing can now be done over Bluetooth! Automatically send any route to the ELEMNT ROAM from your smartphone with the ELEMNT Companion App.
  • Take Me To allows you to create a route with turn-by-turn directions by simply selecting a location directly on the ELEMNT ROAM map page using its pan and zoom or by selecting from one of your saved locations.

Great but......!!

The Wahoo Element is a great product for logging your cycling miles. The backlight is good for dark rides. Page layout can be amended to personal requirements via Phone app. Also customised page can be created with the phone app. Lap can be pre set as per choice depending on time or distance or can be selected on the ELEMNT during the ride as per rider wish. Now ... one star taken away... because .... purchased in June 2021 and its been 8 months now using it. The battery has already started showing depreciation in its charge holding capability. Even when charged to 100%, during the subsequent ride, the charge drops to 90-91% within the first 20 odd minutes. Thereafter works normal and there is a gradual reduction as when it was new. However a battery capacity reduction of almost 10% before even a year is over is not good.

It's a good investment

Wahoo is excellent during day time. It is easy to operate too through the smart phone. But it is not suitable for night ride. I can not see anything . May be some problem in setting.

After a lot of review listenings & comparison study decided to buy the roam. Totally satisfied with the product and what I luv the most is the integrated Strava Segment.
