Wahoo KICKR V6 Electromagnetic Direct Drive Smart Bicycle Trainer
WFBKTR122
Wahoo's standard direct-drive smart trainer for riders who want race-level accuracy and a stable connection, with lateral give that makes hard efforts feel genuinely natural.
Overview
KICKR V6 is Wahoo's core direct-drive trainer, refined over multiple generations rather than reinvented. This version adds integrated WiFi for a more stable connection and automatic firmware updates, on top of the accuracy and durability the KICKR line is known for.
What's actually equipped: automatic, persistent calibration keeps power readings accurate to within ±1% without a manual spin-down step. KICKR AXIS feet allow the trainer to move laterally under load, adjustable to your own weight using the included attachments, for a ride feel closer to how a bike actually behaves outdoors. A pre-installed cassette, carry handle, and quick tyre-height adjustment mean it's ready to mount straight from the box.
It's built for riders training at a genuinely competitive level — structured ERG workouts, FTP testing, or Zwift racing — where 2,200W of headroom and tight accuracy actually get used.
Why You'll Like It
Race-Level Accuracy, Automatically Maintained
Persistent automatic calibration keeps power readings accurate to within ±1% without a manual calibration ritual before each ride.
Moves With You Under Load
KICKR AXIS feet allow lateral movement adjusted to your own weight, closer to how a bike actually behaves during hard efforts.
Serious Resistance Headroom
2,200W of maximum power and gradient simulation up to 20% cover structured intervals and steep virtual climbs without running out of range.
WiFi Keeps the Connection Solid
Integrated WiFi handles firmware updates automatically and gives a more stable connection than Bluetooth or ANT+ alone.
Ready to Ride, No Extra Parts
A pre-installed cassette and quick tyre-height adjustment mean it's set up and ready in minutes.
Who Is It For?
Riders in India training at a competitive level — FTP testing, structured ERG workouts, or Zwift racing — who want dependable, race-level accuracy from a proven platform. It suits anyone already following a coached plan who wants no compromise on power data.
It's also a strong choice for a rider stepping up from an entry-level trainer who wants the resistance headroom and lateral movement to grow into more serious training.
Good to Know
KICKR AXIS feet ship with three different attachments, so you can match the lateral give to your own weight for the most natural feel.
ERG Easy Ramp brings you back into a structured interval within 10 seconds after an interruption, rather than snapping straight to target power.
The trainer works with ELEMNT GPS bike computers for direct control, alongside the usual training apps.
