Overview

The 30 Course is Zipp's alloy-rimmed, tubeless-ready wheel, borrowing the rim-shape thinking from its famous Firecrest carbon wheels for low drag and stable handling in crosswinds. The welded aluminium rim is 26mm deep with a wide 25mm outside and 21mm inside width, which gives a bigger air volume for better cornering grip and comfort.

This is the front wheel only, in the rim-brake version. It uses Zipp's 77 front hub with 18 Sapim CX-Ray bladed spokes laced radially, and external nipples that make truing easier. It weighs about 700g, and each wheel comes with a skewer, rim tape and a tubeless valve in the box.

Alloy makes it tougher and more forgiving to live with than carbon — a sensible choice for training, mixed-surface roads and everyday riding where you still want a genuinely aero, light front wheel.

Who Is It For?

This suits rim-brake road riders who want a durable, light, wide front wheel for training, racing and everyday riding. It's a front wheel only — pair it with the matching rear for a full set. It's not for disc-brake frames.

Good to Know

This is a rim-brake, quick-release front wheel (100mm). Brake pads are not included. Have your BOTS mechanic set up the tubeless tyre and sealant and check your fork's quick-release fit and brake pad alignment.
